Currently, he is serving as an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU), Vaddeswaram, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh, a position he has held since July 2022. Prior to his current role, Dr. Gopi was an Associate Professor at KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Sciences, also in the Computer Science and Engineering Department, located in Vinjanampadu, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. He worked there from August 2021 to June 2022. From December 2017 to June 2021, he was an Assistant Professor at St. Mary’s Integrated Campus Hyderabad, within the Computer Science and Engineering Department. He also held the additional responsibility of being the In-charge of the Examination Branch at Deshmukhi, Pochampally, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, Hyderabad. Before his tenure at St. Mary’s, Dr. Gopi worked as an Assistant Professor at the Brilliant Group of Technical Institutions in the Computer Science and Engineering Department, located in Abdullapurmet, Hayath Nagar, from November 2010 to December 2017. In recognition of his contributions to education, Dr. Gopi was honored with the Yuva Acharya Award by the Bharat Education Excellence Awards on September 5, 2021. As a coordinator, Dr. Gopi successfully conducted the IIRS-ISRO Outreach Programme on “70-Remote Sensing of Land Degradation” from December 1, 2020, to December 7, 2020.
