Dr. Qudrat Ullah, a Pakistani national , is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in theriogenology, epidemiology, and zoonotic diseases with a focus on advancing both animal and public health. He is currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Theriogenology at the Cholistan University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (CUVAS), Bahawalpur, Pakistan, where he also holds administrative responsibilities as Officer Incharge of the department, Consultant/Expert Theriogenologist at the Directorate of Livestock Farms, and Focal Person for the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme. He previously held academic positions at The University of Agriculture, Dera Ismail Khan, Gomal University, and The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, where he contributed as both teaching assistant and head of department. Dr. Ullah earned his PhD in Theriogenology from The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, with his dissertation focusing on the serological and molecular investigations of coxiellosis and its association with reproductive disorders in small ruminants. During his PhD, he was awarded the prestigious HEC International Research Support Initiative Program (IRSIP) fellowship to conduct part of his research at the Institute of Bacterial Infections and Zoonoses, Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (FLI), Germany. He also holds an MPhil in Theriogenology on brucellosis in crossbred cattle and a DVM degree. With a strong commitment to molecular epidemiology, his research emphasizes zoonoses such as Q fever and brucellosis, aiming to improve disease control strategies and reproductive health in animals. Dr. Ullah is recognized for his interdisciplinary approach, dedication to student mentorship, and contributions to veterinary education and research in Pakistan.
