Dr. Tamer Said Sayed Mohamed Saleh is a distinguished Professor of Organic Chemistry at the University of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and the National Research Centre (NRC), Egypt, with extensive expertise in green and pharmaceutical chemistry. He earned his B.Sc. in Chemistry (1997), M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry (2001), and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry (2006) from Cairo University. Over the course of his career, Dr. Saleh has made significant contributions to the fields of sustainable synthesis, green chemical processes, and bioactive compound development. He began his academic journey as an instructor and assistant lecturer at Helwan University, later joining the NRC where he advanced from Assistant Researcher to Full Professor in the Green Chemistry Department. His research excellence is recognized through his role as a member of the Pharmaceutical Research Department at the Center of Excellence for Advanced Sciences. Dr. Saleh joined the University of Jeddah in 2010, where he has been instrumental in teaching a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Green Chemistry, Heterocyclic Chemistry, and Pharmaceutical Organic Chemistry.
