Dr. Tarek Sadraoui’s academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Methods in 2000 from the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sfax, Tunisia. He earned his M.A. in Economics in 2003 from the same institution, where he studied the relationship between public and private investment in R&D. In 2009, he completed his PhD in Economics, focusing on R&D cooperation and economic growth through theoretical and dynamic panel data approaches. In 2014, he attained the HDR (Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches) in Quantitative Methods, further solidifying his academic standing and research leadership capabilities. His multidisciplinary education in economics, quantitative analysis, and statistical modeling forms the foundation of his extensive academic and research career. Dr. Sadraoui’s educational qualifications have enabled him to contribute meaningfully to both teaching and high-level academic research in Tunisia and beyond.

💼 Experience

Dr. Sadraoui has over 20 years of extensive academic and professional experience. Since 2016, he has served as an Associate Professor and Director of the Quantitative Methods Department at the Faculty of Economics and Management of Mahdia, University of Monastir. Previously, he was Vice Director and Director of Studies at the Higher Institute of Business Administration of Gafsa (2011–2015). He has also taught as an Assistant and Invited Associate Professor at several institutions including the University of Sfax, Gabes, and Sousse. Additionally, he has held key academic positions such as member of doctoral and HDR committees, research master’s program coordinator, and national jury member for academic promotions. He is actively involved in curriculum development and has trained professionals in statistical software like Eviews and WinRATS.
