Prof. Graça Andrade is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of health psychology, with a strong focus on health behavior, nutrition psychology, and mental health among student populations. She has been affiliated for over two decades with the Higher School of Health Technology at the Lisbon Polytechnic Institute, where she serves as an Assistant Professor in Human and Social Sciences. Throughout her academic career, she has been actively involved in teaching, research, and institutional development, contributing significantly to the integration of psychological principles within health education and professional training. Her teaching and scholarly work emphasize the psychosocial determinants of health, promoting evidence-based approaches to behavior change, well-being, and preventive health practices. She completed her doctoral studies in Health Psychology at the Psychology College of the University of Lisbon, where her research strengthened interdisciplinary links between psychology, health sciences, and education.
