Professor Arstan Abdramanovich Mamyrbayev, Doctor of Medical Sciences, is a distinguished scholar and Professor at the Department of Hygienic Disciplines and Occupational Diseases at West Kazakhstan Marat Ospanov Medical University. His illustrious academic and research career spans over four decades, during which he rose from a postgraduate student to become one of Kazakhstan’s most respected hygienists and toxicologists, as well as the first head of several republican research centers. He is an Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Higher School of Culture and the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. Professor Mamyrbayev has authored more than 350 scientific works, including 13 monographs, two textbooks, and a medical-environmental atlas, with several publications released in English, earning him wide recognition across the post-Soviet scientific community. With an H-index ranging from 6 to 8 across major databases, his research is both impactful and highly cited, reflecting his leading role in the field of hygiene and environmental health. As the founder of a renowned school of hygienists-toxicologists, he has supervised 17 candidates and 3 doctors of medical sciences, as well as numerous PhD and master’s students, contributing significantly to the development of scientific expertise in Kazakhstan. Professor Mamyrbayev has directed over 20 major research and technological projects, including those funded through program-targeted methods. He has served as a member of the Expert Council for Medical Specialties of the Higher Attestation Commission (HAC) and currently acts as an expert for the National Center for Scientific and Technical Expertise under the Ministry of Education and Science. In addition, he contributes to regional environmental councils, the International Center for Green Technologies, and serves on editorial boards and dissertation councils of leading national and international scientific journals.

Regulatory Officer: Pronalis has also worked as a Regulatory Officer at the Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe, where she evaluated dossiers for regulatory compliance and issued registration certificates for medicines. Clinical Study Coordinator and Technician: At the Biopharmaceutics Research Institute, Pronalis coordinated clinical studies, managed study documents, and performed data analysis. Retail Pharmacist: Additionally, Pronalis has experience as a Retail Pharmacist at Medpoint Pharmacy, where she dispensed prescriptions, conducted health screenings, and advised patients on medication use.
