In 2016, Dr. Alatwinusa Mpwaga completed an internship at Kiwila Fish Belt in Mbeya, Tanzania. From 2017 to 2019, she served as a farm manager at Galawani Farm Investment in Mkulanga, Tanzania. During this period, she undertook a variety of responsibilities, including educating farmers on fish pond management, instructing students from various colleges, planning breeding programs, overseeing the hatching and rearing of fish, ensuring adequate water supply, and maintaining detailed records of stocks, markets, and sales.
