He began his academic journey with a B.E. in Civil Engineering from J.T.M. COE, Faizpur, affiliated with KBC NMU, Jalgaon, in June 2003, achieving a score of 62.21%. Before his bachelor’s, Dr. Kumavat completed a Diploma in Civil Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic, Jalgaon, affiliated with MSBTE, in June 2000, with a score of 63.16%. Dr. Hemraj Kumavat has a rich employment history in the field of civil engineering. Since August 1, 2008, he has been serving as an Assistant Professor at R.C. Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur. In this role, he teaches Engineering Mechanics, Surveying-I & II, and is involved in consultancy work. He also contributes as a member of the “Third Party Technical Audit” for Shirpur Municipal. Before joining R.C. Patel Institute of Technology, he worked as a Consulting Structural Designer in Jalgaon from May 1 to July 30, 2008, where he focused on structural drawing and designing using software like BUILDMASTER and STADDPRO. Prior to that, from August 28, 2006, to June 16, 2008, he served as a Lecturer at Godavari College of Engineering, Jalgaon, teaching subjects like Engineering Mechanics and Elements of Civil Engineering. He also gained experience as a Lecturer at Gangamai Polytechnic, Nagaon, from June 11, 2005, to May 29, 2006, where he taught subjects like Surveying, Hydraulics, and Concrete Technology.
