Rochester Institute of Technology | United States
Dr. André O. Hudson is a scientist originally from Jamaica who later pursued his education in the United States. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Union University in 2000, where his early research experience focused on identifying pathogenic bacteria in fresh produce. He went on to complete his Ph.D. in Plant Biology and Pathology at Rutgers University in 2006 under the mentorship of Dr. Thomas Leustek. Following postdoctoral training at Rutgers, he joined the faculty of the Thomas H. Gosnell School of Life Sciences in 2008, where he contributes to research and education in the life sciences.
