Professor Haleh Ayatollahi is a distinguished scholar and educator in the field of Health Informatics, currently serving as Professor and Director of the Deputy of Research and Technology at the School of Health Management and Information Sciences, Iran University of Medical Sciences. She earned her PhD in Health Informatics from the University of Sheffield, UK, and holds M.Sc., B.Sc., and Associate degrees in Medical Records from the Iran University of Medical Sciences. With a strong academic and research background, Professor Ayatollahi has made significant contributions to the advancement of health information systems, digital health, and medical informatics education. Her career spans leadership, teaching, and research roles, including service as Director of the Deputy of Research and Technology at the Health Management and Economics Research Centre, and as a member of the Medical Informatics Evaluation and Examination Board. She previously held administrative positions such as Postgraduate and Education Office Administrator at the School of Health Management and Information Sciences, and has lectured at Kashan University of Medical Sciences. Professor Ayatollahi’s research interests encompass electronic health records, decision support systems, telemedicine, and the evaluation of information technologies in healthcare. Her extensive publication record, reflected in her profiles on Google Scholar and Scopus, demonstrates her impact on national and international health informatics research.
