Dr. Vasugi V has amassed a wealth of professional experience over the years, contributing significantly to the field of education and research. Since July 2020, she has served as a Professor at VIT Chennai, where she is actively engaged in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as conducting research in her area of expertise. Prior to this role, from August 2013 to June 2020, Dr. Vasugi held the position of Associate Professor at VIT Chennai, where she continued to excel in teaching and research, earning the designation of Senior Associate Professor. Her academic journey began in June 2002 when she joined Rajalakshmi Engineering College as an Assistant Professor, a role she held with distinction until June 2013. During this time, she played a pivotal role in educating undergraduate students, nurturing their academic growth, and instilling in them a passion for structural engineering. Before joining Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Dr. Vasugi served as a Sr. Lecturer at Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering from June 2002 to May 2006, where she continued to impart knowledge and inspire young minds.
