Ren Jianhui, born in December 1986 in Tianzhen, Shanxi Province, is an associate professor and master’s supervisor specializing in regional economics. In addition to his academic achievements, he is a partner at the China Regional Economics Research Network and a special commentator for the Shanxi Economic Information Channel. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Shanxi Datong University (2006-2010), followed by a Master’s in Regional Economics from Lanzhou University of Finance and Economics (2010-2013) under Professor Gao Yunhong. He pursued a Ph.D. in Regional Economics at Jinan University (2013-2017), where he was mentored by Professor Qin Chenglin. Expanding his expertise, Ren undertook a postdoctoral research program in Management Science and Engineering at Shanxi University (2020-2024), co-supervised by Professor Liu Weichi. His interdisciplinary education has equipped him with strong analytical skills in spatial economics, data modeling, and policy research.
