Dr. Saeid Karimi is an accomplished academic and researcher in the field of Agricultural Extension, Education, and Entrepreneurship, currently serving as an Associate Professor at Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran. He earned his PhD in Entrepreneurship Education and Development from Wageningen University in the Netherlands, his MSc in Agricultural Extension and Education from Tarbiat Modares University, and his BSc in Agricultural Extension and Education from Bu-Ali Sina University. With nearly two decades of academic and research experience, Dr. Karimi has held several academic positions, including Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Head of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Education. His research primarily focuses on entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial learning, business opportunities, sustainable entrepreneurship, creativity and innovation, rural and agricultural entrepreneurship, sustainability, and research methodology. Dr. Karimi has contributed significantly to developing educational frameworks that foster innovation and entrepreneurial thinking among agricultural students. His research projects have examined critical issues such as environmental and personal factors influencing entrepreneurial intentions, job satisfaction among faculty members, farmers’ extension-educational needs, and the adoption of modern irrigation systems. As an educator, he has taught a diverse range of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral courses, including entrepreneurship in agriculture, business modeling, sustainable entrepreneurship, creative thinking, and research methods. Dr. Karimi’s scholarly contributions aim to bridge the gap between theory and practice in entrepreneurship education and rural development, emphasizing sustainability and innovation as drivers of economic and social progress. Through his academic leadership and research, he continues to inspire students and professionals to adopt entrepreneurial mindsets that contribute to rural transformation and sustainable development in Iran and beyond.

Nimra Usman is a Pakistani economist with a strong blend of academic and professional experience in economics, data analysis, and policy advisory. She holds an M.Phil in Economics from the School of Economics at Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan, where she graduated with distinction, earning with her thesis focusing on “Economic Freedom, Logistics Performance, International Grant & Burden of Debt: Case of Developing Countries.” She also holds an M.Sc in Economics from the same institution. Nimra has contributed to the field through both teaching and consultancy; she served as a Lecturer in Economics at the Institute of Southern Punjab and Nishat Higher Secondary School, where she taught courses including Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Development Economics, while also mentoring students and developing curriculum materials. Professionally, she has held leadership and advisory roles, including serving as Chief Operating Officer at Digi Vyze, where she managed operations, team coordination, and strategic execution to enhance growth and efficiency. Most recently, she was a Consultant with the World Bank Group’s Young Economist Immersion Program in Islamabad, where she contributed analytical work for the Pakistan Development Update, supported macro-fiscal meetings, prepared presentations, and aided in report outreach, demonstrating her expertise in fiscal policy and economic analysis. Nimra combines rigorous academic training with practical experience in economic research, policy insights, and organizational leadership, reflecting a commitment to advancing economic understanding and contributing to development-oriented initiatives in Pakistan and beyond.
