Dr. Hemraj Kumavat has been widely recognized for his academic and research contributions at both national and international levels. At the global stage, he received the Academic Professional Excellence Award in Cairo, Egypt, for his outstanding research in Civil Engineering. Nationally, he was honored with the Sir Arthur Cotton Memorial Prize by The Institution of Engineers Indian Engineering Congress for his research paper on clay brick masonry waste utilization. His innovative teaching and research initiatives have earned him multiple distinctions, including the Best Faculty Award at Tech Next India, IIT Bombay, and the Excellent Researcher Award by NL Dalmia Institute, Mumbai. He was further recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award in the Global Outreach Education Awards at Jaipur and the Young Achiever Award at IEAE Bangalore. His dedication to education innovation earned him the Teacher Innovation Award from Sri Aurobindo Society for zero-investment initiatives. More recently, he was honored with the Young Scientist Award at the Global Education and Corporate Leadership Awards. Research Focus

Dr. Hemraj Kumavat research interests span structural engineering, sustainable construction, materials science, and non-destructive testing techniques. His Ph.D. work emphasized developing and evaluating innovative building materials that address challenges of waste management, cost efficiency, and environmental sustainability in construction. He has contributed to advancing civil engineering practices through studies on replacing conventional aggregates with recycled and alternative materials, thereby promoting eco-friendly solutions in infrastructure. Another major area of his expertise lies in non-destructive testing of concrete, where he has conducted and delivered expert lectures on assessing structural integrity without damage, enhancing the durability and safety of built environments. Beyond technical research, Dr. Hemraj Kumavat actively integrates innovation and entrepreneurship in engineering, guiding students on patent filing, prior art analysis, and commercialization opportunities. His academic contributions extend to government innovation funding schemes, startup incubation, and industry-academia collaborations, fostering an ecosystem of applied research and innovation. Internationally, he contributes as a reviewer and session chair in conferences related to composites, materials engineering, and automation in construction.
