Prof. Rakesh Gupta is an Associate Professor of Accounting & Finance at Charles Darwin University, Australia, since July 2024. Previously, he served as a Senior Lecturer in Finance & Financial Planning at Griffith Business School, Griffith University, from 2011 to 2024. He has held multiple editorial roles, including serving on the boards of the Indian Journal of Finance, Delhi Business Review, DIAS Technology Review, and Asian Journal of Banking and Economy. He is an Associate Editor of the South Asian Journal of Business Studies and was a Co-editor of the Financial Planning Research Journal (2015-2021). Prof. Gupta has been a Non-resident Senior Research Fellow at the Chongyang Institute of Financial Studies, Renmin University, China, since 2015, and was a HaiTian Scholar at Dalian University of Technology (2014-2022). He has also held honorary professorships at Nanyang Institute of Technology, Yichun University, and Northeast Petroleum University in China.
